Where small town warmth meets modern veterinary care.

Our Story

Mule Town Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital that has been proudly serving Creedmoor, NC and the surrounding area since 2016.

Founded as a small-town practice centered around personal relationships and compassionate care, Mule Town is entering an exciting new chapter under the leadership of Dr. Julianna Frum. Our goal is to combine the warmth and familiarity of a community veterinary hospital with the medical standards, technology, and capabilities of a modern practice.

We are continually expanding our diagnostics, treatment options, and services so we can provide more comprehensive care close to home while preserving the personal relationships and community that have always made Mule Town special.

Meet Dr. Julianna Frum

Dr. Frum first joined Mule Town as a relief veterinarian and quickly became a valued part of the practice. Today, as our practice owner and primary veterinarian, she is leading the hospital's continued growth with a focus on thoughtful medicine, advanced care, and a personalized approach for every patient and family.

What Sets Us Apart

Personalized Care

We take the time to get to know you and your pet, answer your questions, and create a care plan tailored to their individual needs.

Modern Veterinary Medicine

We’re continually growing our capabilities, technology, and medical standards so we can provide more comprehensive care close to home.

Relationships that Last

We’re proud to be a community practice where familiar faces, trust, and long-term relationships are just as important as excellent medicine.

Remembering Dr. Lori Scappino

Mule Town Veterinary Hospital was founded by Dr. Lori Ann Scappino, whose dream was to create a small-town veterinary hospital providing personalized care to the community she loved.

Following Dr. Scappino's passing in July 2025, her family chose to continue the hospital she created. Her vision and the relationships she built remain an important part of Mule Town's story, and we are honored to carry that legacy with us as the practice continues to grow.
